Using" I don't have time to + verb" in sentences

 

When you add "have time to" you are simply indicating that you have other commitments and should wait for all other things considered. 

Here are some examples, to help you understand:

  1. I don't have time to be lazy.
  2. I don't have time to breathe.
  3. I don't have time to read these days.
  4. I don't have time to go and anyway it's too expensive.
  5. I don't have time to write a speech, so I'm just going to wing it.
  6. This needs to be copied, and, well, I don't have time to do it.

Uses of "I don't have time" in sentences

 

If you mean you are unaware of the time of day, you would say the time as another answer has indicated. It can also be used if referring to some known block of time.
