What are irregular verbs?

 

Irregular verbs are verbs whose conjugation follows a different pattern. While most English regular verbs use the ending “-ed” for the past tense and participle forms. 

Most of the irregular verbs contain the past tense and the past participle, irregular verbs each have their own unique tense forms and past participles.
